Philip Emeagwali Center for Professional Studies is equipped with different training activities like Short courses, Internal training programmes, Seminar and Professional Examinations to individuals, groups, Corporate Organizations and Government organization to acquire knowledgeable skill and to meet up with the new challenges in the society.
The center seeks to provide the above opportunities through corporate collaboration with Professional bodies and International training organizations.
All our Professional courses are relevant to the world will live in and are focus in developing and enhancing our Professional students skills and career options. Our lectures have close links with industry, professional’s body and non government agencies.
The center is dedicated to one of Africa heroes; Dr Philip Emeagwali a pioneer of the super computer, African-American investor, born in Akure, Nigeria over 6 decades. Being an African American investor and his impact in humanitarian the institute honoured him for his Professionalism and excellence.
DR. PHILIP EMEAGWALI SHORT PROFILE
He received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Oregan State University in 1977 and received his master’s degree from George Washington University in ocean and marine Engineering and a second master’s in applied mathematics from the University of Maryland, Also studied Phd degree from the University of Michigan in 1982.
